Enhancements to Express Entry System
Canada is enhancing its Express Entry system to bolster its position in the global innovation economy. This upgrade is a crucial step in attracting skilled workers needed by employers to drive economic growth.
From June 6, 2017, candidates with strong French language proficiency will receive additional points. This change aims to support the vitality of Francophone minority communities across the nation. Other planned updates will include awarding points for candidates with siblings in Canada and offering voluntary Job Bank registration.
