This initiative eliminates many visa requirements, allowing Ukrainian nationals to apply with no cap on numbers. Successful applicants, following background and security checks, can stay in Canada for at least two years. The application process is expected to open in two weeks, with priority given to current applications.<\/p>\n Understanding the needs of families, IRCC will create a special sponsorship pathway for permanent residence, targeting immediate and extended family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
