This initiative, unveiled by Minister Marc Miller, offers a safe refuge for Palestinians with Canadian family ties.<\/p>\n This program targets Palestinians affected by the Gaza crisis who have Canadian citizens or permanent residents in their family. Eligible relatives include spouses, partners, children, grandchildren, siblings, parents, or grandparents, along with their immediate family.<\/p>\n Upon arriving in Canada, individuals can apply for fee-exempt study or open work permits, aiding their self-sufficiency. They will receive three months of health coverage under the Interim Federal Health Program and access to settlement services like language training.<\/p>\n Exiting Gaza remains difficult due to regional restrictions.
